Puppy’s First Groom
We advise giving your puppy a groom from an early age to get them used to the idea before having a full groom. A puppy’s first groom includes getting used to the grooming equipment, noises and environment of the grooming salon. Brush, bath & blow dry, fur trimmed round the eyes, top of the ears & bottom of the feet.
Why is it so important to get your dog groomed?
Dog Grooming is strongly associated with improving the appearance of a dog, but not only does it make them look and smell amazing, it can also help with their overall wellbeing and health
See below for the main reasons you should groom your dog regularly.
*Matting – I will always do my best to attempt to de-mat a coat, however if it is resulting in the dog being in any pain or discomfort, my duty of care as a groomer and in compliance with the animal welfare act will always remove the coat completely or in areas to prevent unnecessary suffering. Shaving the coat in this circumstance is much kinder and less stressful for the dog than salvaging a severely matted coat.
